The Honourable Minister of Works, Sen. Engr. Nweze David Umahi, CON, on Friday presented the performance report of the works sector under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope administration as the government marks two years in office.

Speaking at the National Press Centre in Abuja, the Minister highlighted massive progress in road infrastructure development across the country. According to a statement signed by Barr. Orji Uchenna Orji, Special Adviser (Media) to the Minister, Umahi’s presentation offered a comprehensive account of inherited ongoing projects, newly initiated Renewed Hope Legacy Projects, and various emergency interventions spanning the six geo-political zones.

He was joined at the briefing by the Honourable Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, Esq., and top management officials of the Ministry.

Describing the event as a “bumper edition,” the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, praised the scope and detail of the presentation. The session also witnessed the presence of other Federal Ministers, including the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, Esq., and the Minister of Water Resources, Engr.
