Elder Simon Achuba, former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians in Nigeria and around the world, urging them to embrace love, selflessness, and unity as they commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In a statement personally signed, Achuba described Easter as a powerful reminder of hope triumphing over despair and light overcoming darkness. He said the season calls on believers to reflect deeply on its spiritual significance and to translate these lessons into acts of kindness and compassion in their communities.
The former deputy governor highlighted the enduring values of sacrifice and renewal inherent in Christ’s resurrection, encouraging Christians to emulate these virtues in their daily lives.
