David Umahi has extended Easter greetings to Christians across Nigeria, urging citizens to embrace unity, hope, and a renewed commitment to national development.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Minister described the Easter season as a sacred period that reflects the enduring values of sacrifice, renewal, and the triumph of light over darkness. He noted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ symbolizes faith, new beginnings, and hope, particularly during challenging times.

Umahi said the lessons of Easter remain relevant to Nigeria’s present circumstances, stressing the need for Nigerians to prioritize unity and mutual support. According to him, citizens must choose love over apathy and faith over fear as the country continues its journey toward stability and progress.

He also encouraged Nigerians to remain steadfast and work together in building a nation that reflects shared aspirations for peace, prosperity, and sustainable development, while wishing Christian faithful a joyful Easter celebration filled with renewed strength and hope.
