Nigerian broadcaster, Livinus Chibuike Victor, will today, Sunday, embark on an audacious attempt to enter the Guinness World Records by hosting the longest interviewing marathon, a feat scheduled to last 72 hours and 30 seconds.

The record-breaking event is billed to kick off at exactly 10 a.m. at Tangier Hotel, 34 A.E. Ekukinam Street, beside ABC Transport, Utako, Abuja.

According to the organizers, the marathon interview will run non-stop from September 28 through October 1, 2025, featuring multiple guests across diverse fields. The initiative, themed “Nigeria Our Strength,” aims not only to set a global record but also to showcase the resilience, creativity, and unity of Nigerians.

Victor, speaking ahead of the challenge, described the record attempt as a test of endurance and commitment, noting that it is his contribution to projecting Nigeria positively on the world stage.

Supporters, colleagues, and media enthusiasts are expected to grace the venue during the four-day marathon to cheer him on as he seeks to etch his name in history.

If successful, the effort will place Victor among Nigerians who have broken Guinness World Records in recent years, further spotlighting the nation’s growing reputation for global feats in diverse sectors.
