The Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr. Nweze David Umahi, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the second anniversary of his administration, praising his leadership as one driven by unwavering commitment to national progress and prosperity.
In a congratulatory message on Wednesday, Umahi described the two-year milestone of the Renewed Hope administration as “eventful” and filled with “great accomplishments,” particularly in addressing infrastructural deficits and other socio-economic challenges that have long hindered Nigeria’s development.
“We are delighted by the momentum in your administration’s vision to give our nation a strong sense of identity and build the future and potential of her people,” the minister said. “In record time, your government has begun to change the narrative of leadership deficits and has taken bold steps in tackling deeply rooted national challenges.”
Speaking specifically on the performance in the works sector, Umahi noted that the Tinubu administration has made transformative progress in road infrastructure. He cited emergency interventions on failed roads and bridges, increased funding of ongoing inherited projects, and the introduction of policies aimed at ensuring quality, speed, and value for money.
“Your commitment to constructing legacy projects that will expand Nigeria’s transportation ecosystem is commendable. These efforts are already yielding results and are bound to positively impact the economy in the long term,” Umahi stated.
The Minister further lauded the President’s determination to drive lasting economic reforms and strengthen national unity through infrastructure development, describing him as “a leader with enduring commitment to a prosperous Nigeria.”
He concluded the message with prayers for divine guidance and strength for President Tinubu, expressing optimism that the administration’s vision will continue to put Nigeria on the path of irreversible progress.
