The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates for its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II), directing successful applicants to begin the next stage of the enlistment process.
In a statement issued on Monday by the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, successful candidates were advised to check their status on the official NCS website or in selected national newspapers.
The Service said shortlisted candidates would also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS, containing instructions on the next phase of the recruitment exercise.
According to the statement, candidates are required to log on to the recruitment portal using either their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
The NCS said the portal for uploading the medical certificates will be activated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and candidates will have one week from the activation date to complete the process.
It also directed successful applicants to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept the provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
The Service said that candidates who complete the required steps would subsequently receive their Trainee Identification Number within one week, after which details of documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and other requirements, would be communicated through official channels.
The NCS warned that candidates must strictly comply with all instructions and timelines, stressing that failure to meet any of the requirements could lead to disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
On behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, the Comptroller-General of Customs congratulated the successful candidates and expressed optimism that they would uphold professionalism, integrity and dedicated service as they begin their careers with the Service.
