The Minister of Works, David Nweze Umahi, has congratulated Africa’s richest businessman, Aliko Dangote, on the occasion of his 69th birthday, describing his contributions to Nigeria’s industrial development as remarkable and inspiring.
In a goodwill message, Umahi praised Dangote, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Dangote Group, for his enduring commitment to Nigeria’s economic growth and infrastructure advancement.
The minister noted that Dangote’s role in strengthening local industries has not only created jobs but also boosted the nation’s productive capacity across several sectors.
Umahi also expressed appreciation for Dangote’s collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Works in promoting the use of concrete technology for road construction across the country.
According to him, the partnership has contributed significantly to the ongoing “concrete road revolution,” an initiative aimed at delivering more durable and high-quality road infrastructure nationwide.
He further wished Dangote continued good health, strength, and greater accomplishments in the years ahead, while commending his sustained impact on Nigeria’s economic and infrastructure development.
