The Congress of Nigerian Maritime Media Practitioners (CONMMEP) has extended warm greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world as they celebrate Eid al-Adha, urging renewed commitment to sacrifice, unity, and national development.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of its President, Executive Council, and members, the organization described the Eid celebration as a period that reflects the enduring values of faith, obedience, and sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
According to the statement signed by the President, Udo Onyeka, CONMMEP joined the global Muslim community in marking the festive occasion, expressing hope that the spiritual significance of the celebration would inspire stronger bonds of unity among families, communities, and stakeholders within the maritime sector.
The organization further prayed that Allah accepts the prayers and sacrifices of the faithful while asking for continued blessings upon homes, businesses, and the nation at large. It also emphasized the need for peace, progress, security, and prosperity across Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the message encouraged Muslims to use the period to reflect on compassion and selflessness, noting that such values remain essential for national cohesion and development.
CONMMEP reaffirmed its solidarity with the Muslim community, wishing all faithful a joyful celebration marked by good health, peace, and renewed purpose.
