Following the irregularities that mared on Saturday being 25th February 2023 Presidential, Senate and House of Representative Elections in most wards in Dekina Local Government Area, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP), Flag bearer, Honourable Usman Austin Okai, has hereby requested INEC to cancel the outcome of the elections and order for rerun on a later date.
The affected wards where All Progressive Congress’s (APC) Thugs carted away and desrupted the voting process were: Odu one and Two, Anyigba ward, Egume ward, Dekina Ward, Oganenigu ward and Abocho ward.
To make the matter worse, some Independent National Electoral Commission’s ( INEC ) staff and Anyigba Police DPO supervised some groups of people thumb printed for APC unhindered.
I hereby reject the cooked results offline by APC without relationship with BVAS Device input.
INEC Kogi branch is to suspend announcement of results in the affected area until fresh election is conducted.
