Rt Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims is the current member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal constituency of Kogi state and also served as chairman House committee on steel development along many others committees of the house.
Having assumed duty in 2019 , the lawmaker had carried out various programs from empowerment, employment, capacity building and enterpreneurship training and development, charity, across all sectors of the constituency.
This is along with attending regular plenary, committees, oversight functions and adhoc committees inline with the template of lawmaking in Nigeria.
Rt Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims had contributed to issues of national importance, presented topical issues through matters of urgent national importance , motions and bills to the satisfaction of both his constituents in the last three years.
No doubt, two years at the helms of affairs, Rt Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims organised a well thought out town hall meetings in the three local government of his constituency and presented his incontrovertible score cards to the enticement of his constituents.
In recent time, the federal lawmaker had broken another political and humanitarian record in the history of not only Ankpa federal constituency, but the entire Kogi state as he carried out a Mega empowerment program that was worth Two Hundred and Sixty Million Naira (260 Million Naira Only).
The record breaking empowerment aside giving alot of life and stability to the beneficiaries across the three local government of the federal constituency, had also threw his colleagues at the national assembly from Kogi state off balance, as well as to the satisfaction of the people of the three local governments towards the large hearted disposition of Rt Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims.
Halims, without reservation, conservation and mincing words, and his commitment to his people at the Salah celebration and occasion, stood by his words and rolled out a Mega and historic empowerment, that included automobiles, motorbikes, grinding machines, sewing machines, and other accessories to empower all sectors of the economy in the federal constituency and across the state.
Rt Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims attracted not only people from the three local government areas, but units, wards, local government areas and stakeholders presence and beneficiaries.
The record breaking ceremony according to some beneficiaries had not happened in the history of Ankpa federal constituency since the inception democratic practice from the first, second,third and the current fourth republic in Nigeria.
The Mega empowerment was in addition to provision of regular constituency projects in the area of social amenities with boreholes, electricity, transformers, solar street lights, hospitals, erosion control, education, roads, and others, essentials in the three local government areas of the federal constituency.
The new wave of empowerment championed by Rt Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims of Ankpa federal constituency had brought a new template, chapter of economic emancipation to his people.
Halims has rebuild the economic mainstay of the people of the federal constituency and at the same time douse the rising political tension and polity towards 2023, that had positioned him as a consensus candidate naturally from Ankpa federal constituency.
With his wise ideas of giving back to the society what belongs to them and his sane idea of empowerment, there is no doubt that his quest to return to the green chamber in 2023 is non negotiable and unimaginable.
