In a move to mark its readiness for the 15th Biennial Police Games (BIPOGA 2026), the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Zone 7 Headquarters, Abuja, has officially unveiled its colours and sports jersey. The national sporting event is scheduled to take place in Asaba, Delta State.

According to a press release issued by ASP Mohammed Halima, Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 7 Headquarters, the unveiling was conducted during a briefing session at the Zone 7 Headquarters. The ceremony was graced by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police overseeing the Zone, AIG Victor Olaiya, along with Commissioners of Police from the Federal Capital Territory and Niger State.

The event also drew senior officers from the Zone, team coaches, members of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), and the Zonal Sports Committee. The introduction of the new colours and jersey reflects Zone 7’s commitment to unity, discipline, teamwork, and the competitive spirit of its officers who will represent the Zone at BIPOGA 2026.

Presenting the jersey and colours, the Chairman of the Zonal Sports Committee, ACP Emmanuel Inyang, emphasised the Zone’s preparedness and assured stakeholders of a strong performance at the forthcoming games.

In his address, AIG Olaiya praised the committee for its meticulous planning and dedication. He urged officers and athletes to demonstrate professionalism, sportsmanship, and excellence, and pledged the Zone’s continued support to ensure a successful outing.

The 15th Biennial Police Games, officially tagged “BIPOGA 2026 – Asaba,” is expected to bring together police officers from across the country in a celebration of sports, unity, and camaraderie.

Zone 7 Headquarters reaffirmed its commitment to active participation and outstanding performance, consistent with the Nigeria Police Force’s broader mission of promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and esprit de corps among its personnel.
