The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Tuesday, July 7, 2026, for the commencement of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course for corps members deployed to Niger State.
The orientation exercise will be held at the NYSC Federal Capital Territory Permanent Orientation Camp in Kubwa, Abuja, following the ongoing renovation of the NYSC Orientation Camp in Paiko by the Niger State Government.
In a press statement issued by the Director, Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu in Friday, the scheme said registration would begin on Tuesday, July 7, and close at midnight on Thursday, July 9.
According to the statement, the swearing-in ceremony for the 21-day orientation programme will take place on Thursday, July 9, while the closing ceremony is scheduled for Monday, July 27.
NYSC urged all prospective corps members posted to Niger State to complete their registration within the stipulated period and adhere to the orientation schedule.
The management also advised participants to avoid travelling at night and wished them safe journeys to the orientation camp.
