Today’s opening session with the topic ; Drivers of insecurity and opportunities for stabilization:

 

The objectives of today’s session is to deepen understanding of security contest including it’s socio economic dimensions, establish an overview of current approaches to insecurity and identify near term opportunities for addressing drivers of instability.

 

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, Chairman North West Governors Forum and Executive Governor of Katsina state was among the lead panelist today.

 

He spoke on the Katsina experience and the efforts his government is making to fight insecurity.

 

Other members of the panel are Governors of Kaduna, Zamfara, Kebbi and Niger States.
