Handover yourself to EFCC, organizing fake protests is immaterial, Ebira group tells ex governor Bello

The Ebira Youth Consultative Forum for Good Governance (EYCFGG)has advised the past immediate governor of kogi state , Alhaji Yahaya Bello to toe the part of honour and decency in leadership and handover himself to the ant grant commission to defend his stewardship of eight years in office.

 

The Coordinator of Ebira Youth Consultative Forum for Good Governance, Forum(EYCFGG),Ambassador Avidime Ibrahim disclosed this in Lokoja on Wednesday at a press conference.

 

Ambassador Ibrahim cautioned hired different groups and politicians that have made themselves a willing tools to feather the former governor’s nest to desist and face the reality on ground ; saying , their behavior is an embarrassment to Ebira nation and the founding fathers of the state.

The group Coordinator therefore expressed bitterness over the recent activities of some of these sponsored groups over rising protest to distract the efforts of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission(EFCC) on the charges labelled against the ex-governor Bello.

 

He described the action of the Ex governor as unhealthy to the state and the Ebira Kingdom that is known for uprightedness and rich moral values, stressing that the real Ani’Ebira will do no such immoral and rascal behaviour that is currently dragging the tribe in the mud.

 

“Using the ill-gotten money to organize fake protest to fool the gullible society to tend their perception of him is not the answer to question of sleaze so raised against him.

“Submit yourself to the ant grant commission to avoid further embarrassment to AniEbira”, said Ambassador Ibrahim.

 

However, the Ebira youth group applauded the EFCC, Boss, Ola Olukoyede for standing firm in his resolve to ensure justice is done on the alleged misappropriation of public fund against the ex governor.

 

Ambassador Ibrahim therefore advised the EFCC Boss not to be carried away by those paid protests and government officials that are challenging his effort to sanitize the society of kogi off corrupt leadership that had brought the state to its knees.

 

Meanwhile , Ambassador Ibrahim applauded Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo for his outstanding performance within the short period in office ; even as he begged governor Ododo to stay clear off EFCC vs BELLO’s case in order for him to focus on the development of the state.
