Centre Moves To Improve Productivity Techniques In the Nigeria Police.

The National Productivity Centre NPC is poised to improve on the techniques and mode of operations of the Nigerian Police Force, in it’s preparation to take over the internal security of the country.

 

In that vein, the Corporate Affairs and Information Department CIA of the centre on Monday led by its Director/Head of Department, Hajiya Maimuna Adaji visited the police headquarters in Abuja.

 

 

The Director who embarked on a briefing/ presentation at the end of month Commanders’ meeting for Commissioners, CP’s Deputy Commissioners, DCP’s, Assistant Commissioners, ACP’s, and Divisional Police Officers, DPO’s, of police formations in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

According to Hajiya Maimuna Adaji , the briefing was a fall out of discussions with the FCT Police Commissioner, where he requested that the Centre to brief his commanders, before he gives approval, inline with the ongoing programs in Ministries , Departments, and Agencies sensitization program to be replicated in Police formations in FCT.

 

Hajiya Maimuna Adaji stressed the need to inculcate the new and modest technique, to curb the new wave of crimes across the country, stating that the police will be used as a take off point to reach out to other military and paramilitary organisations.

 

This was also in line with the centre’s new wave in the public service to guage the workers input, through the new Performance Management System PMS.

The engagement was very fruitful as many of the seniors officer were so impressed and promised to add their voice to ensure the approval is given immediately.
