The Kogi State PDP Let’s Change The Style in collaboration with PDP Operation Comb The North Central Kogii State chapter has resolved to support the candidacy of Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka at the November 11, 2023 governorship election.
The two organisations are registered with the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Wadata Plaza, Abuja with certificate of recognition.
The decision was taken at the general meeting of the organisation held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Lokoja.
The decision stemmed from the fact that governance of an endowed state like kogi cannot be handed over to a comedian like Sen. Dino Melaye after an abysmal performance by the incumbent governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
The group therefore resolved to collapse its political structure across the 239 wards of the state to that of Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka who has shown purposefullness to governance with his selfless service to the people of the state since he joined politics.
We therefore appeal to all well meaning Kogites to join us in the rescue mission so as to liberate our people from the shackles of poverty and comic dance in the midst of plenty to providing democratic deliverables.
