In a keenly contested House of Representatives election by nine candidates of political parties including APC, INEC has issued certificate of return to APC candidate, Rt Honorable Alli Adeyemi Taofik as the winner of the election.
In the certificate of return issued by the returning officer Professor Tewo Bakare on Sunday 26 February, 2023 stated that the APC candidate met all the provisions and was declared elected .
He said Alli Adeyemi Taofik having certified the requirements of the law is here by declared winner and returned elected .
Other political parties that contested the February 25 House of Representatives along with APC candidate included the ADC, PDP, LP, APP, NNPP, ZLP, SDP and Accord party.
Adeyemi polled 16, 813 from the eight wards in Mushin Federal Constituency of Lagos state.
The wards consisted of Alakara, Idi- oro/Odi Olowo, Babalosa, Ojuwoye, Ilupeju, Olateju, Kayode/Fadeyi and Ilupeju industrial estate.
Attached is the result scored by each political party and certificate of return issued to the winner Rt Honorable Alli Adeyemi Taofik representing Mushin I Federal Constituency of Lagos state.
