Hon. (Mrs,) Chibuogwu Benson-Oraelosi is from Ihiala Federal Constituency in Anambra State. A Female Accountant with an Executive MBA. She has over 25 years of experience in accounting which includes auditing.
She was the Director-General of the “Rescue a School Project” of the Imo State Government. In managing the project, she was able to attract private individuals to partner with the government to improve the standard of schools in the state. She was also appointed Chairman, Education Trust Fund in the same Imo State. She left to go and pursue her political aspirations due to her burning desire to get on to a better platform to add more value to the lives of her people.
Hon. Mrs. Benson-Oraelosi owns an NGO known as The Virtuous Foundation founded in 2003 which she has been using to better the lives of the downtrodden. She was the Internal Auditor for Alphaden Energy, (a major Oil & Gas Servicing Firm that handled major projects for Shell, Mobil Producing, AGIP, SEPLAT, etc.) for several years.
Chibuogwu Is a leader and a humanitarian with a selfless heart. Her foray into politics is due to her unquenching search for a better platform to impact lives positively.
Mrs. Chibuogwu contested for House of Representatives Primaries in 2015 under the umbrella of PDP and was denied the ticket after winning the primaries conducted via Option A4 Model. She recontested again for the same position in 2019 and became the PDP House of Representative Candidate for Ihiala Federal Constituency. She has remained committed, loyal, and dedicated to the ideals of the Peoples Democratic Party including her quest to help the Party recover power come 2023.
Chibuogwu Benson-Oraelosi is presenting herself for the position of the National Auditor of our great party. She intends to put in place a proactive auditing system that will put structures in place to checkmate financial improprieties, rather than wait to react after things have gone wrong and monies have been lost. She will also introduce digital auditing tool kits that will move our great party towards the new generation of audit models. She will work with the relevant teams to introduce safe revenue generation activities for our great party.
She needs to be given an opportunity to serve our Party better by deploying her experience and passion towards financial probity and better revenue generation using the platform of our National Auditor.
