APGA Governorship Candidate in Kogi state in the 2019 election,Alhaji Sheik Ibrahim Jibrin has appealed to the people of the state to imbibe the lessons of the occasion through obedience and sacrifice to constituted authority as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.
Alhaji Ibrahim dropped this message to mark the 2021 celebration of Sallah in his country home, Anyigba kogi state.
He charged both leaders and followers to toe the divine line as demonstrated by the prophet of God that formed the hallmark of this Celebration
‘l urge the Muslim Ummah in Kogi state and Nigerians generally to imbibe the lessons of dedication and obedience to higher authority as demonstrated in Prophet Ibrahim’s preparedness to sacrifice his only son in obedience to the instructions of Allah.
Islam is a religion of peace. There’s nothing Quaran teaches more than Love, Peace, Unity and peaceful coexistence.’
Alhaji Jibrin advised moslems to always use religious injunctions as a guide to their daily lives.
‘I urge Muslin to always remember, Quaran 49:13.
“O mankind, we have created you from a male and a female, and have made you into nations and tribes for you to know one another. Truly, the noblest of you with Allah is the most pious. Truly, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.” Qur’an 49:13
He challenged moslems to live above aboard according to the teaching of prophet Mohammed,so as to enable peaceful co-existence among one another irrespective of religious differences.
‘Muslims should continue to live in accordance with the teaching of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) and ensure peaceful coexistence with people from other faiths.’
The former Governorship hopeful prayed for God’s guidance, protection both in this season and the subsequent ones.
‘May Allah continue to guide, protect and also make us to witness the next Eid-Kabir in good health.’
