Rt Honourable Ahmed Tijani-Damisa is a member representing Okene/Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency in kogi state for three times in a row.
As a ranking member of the green chamber,he is currently the chairman House Committee on Federal Capital Territory FCT, among other member of committees.
Before then, he has been Chairman and membership of various committees both in the 7th,8th and current 9th Assembly.
Ahmed Tijani-Damisa no doubt is a very prominent ,hard-working and movers of the lower chamber for over one decade.
As a political scientist and political enigma,he was elected under the PDP platform earlier and defected to APC,yet returned to the green chamber with a landslide victory.
At the green chamber,he was one of the strongest house caucus that challenged the defection of the former speaker Yakubu Dogara and some members from APC to PDP, at the 8th Assembly, yet formed the 9th Assembly leadership of the same house in the current dispensation.
His stance had contributed in no small measure not only to the stabilisation of leadership of the green chamber,but ensured quality representation from the members of the green chamber.
Quite, unassuming,calm and amiable lawmaker that endeared him to his mixed, volatile and highly educated Communities he represented in the last one decade as a federal lawmaker.
A noiseless achiever,both at the chamber and his Constituency, Rt Honourable Ahmed Tijani-Damisa had impacted in great measure to the socio-economic,political and infrastructural developement of his immediate Constituency of Okene Ogori -Magongo Federal Constituency, Nigeria at large.
This is carried out through committees,plenary,oversight, empowerment, infrastructural developement,charity,skill acquisition and developement, capacity building, employment opportunities that had ensured self sustenance of his immediate Constituents and Nigerians.
Modest,model,modern and highly detrabalised lawmaker,Alhaji Ahmed Tijani-Damisa style of leadership had been a sort of encouragement to young politicians and his Constituents that had ensured his continuous representation.
This positive impact of his representation in the last few years had been an encouragement and a clamour for higher office and responsibility both at the state and federal level in subsequent political dispensation.
As you mark another fruitful year on your life sojourn,I pray that Almighty God will grant you longevity to continue to impact,invest in both human and political developement of Nigeria.
