Alhaji (Dr) Suleiman Ibrahim FNSE is an Agricutural expert span for over three decades, having read Agricultural Engineering from Federal University of Technology Owerri(FUTO).
His flare for public service led him into joining the services of Federal Ministry Of Agriculture and Rural Developement attached to the Strategic Grains Reserve Division (SGRD), headquarters, Abuja.
Since then, he has worked in various capacity as an officer both at the Ministry and parastatatals under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Developement.
As a civil servant, Engineer Haruna has attended various programs including both internal and external to improve his wealth of experience in the field of Agriculture and related fields as well as profession as an Agricultural Engineer of high repute, exposure nationally and internationally.
Dr Sulaiman’s dedication to duty and commitement to the civil service ethics saw him at the headships of many departments in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Developement, with unblemish records of performance job execution span over time.
With his background and determination to achieve greatness in his life sojourn, Engineer Haruna has pursued vigorously at the same time his career and professional calling towards achieving success in life.
Hence within the space or time,he was awarded Fellow by the Nigeria Society of Engineers FNSE,and later bagged his PhD in Agriculture from the Federal University Of Technology in Minna,at the same time promoted to a Directorate cadre in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Developement.
These simultaneous and seamless elevation within a short period ,was not a mere coincidence,but borne out of hardwork, determination and dedication to duty that drove him towards fait accompli.
Engineer Sulaiman’s commitement to Agricultural transformation in Nigeria, had assisted bureacrats in no small way to achieve various Agricultural revolution in Nigeria.
As fellow Nigeria Society of Engineers FNSE,he had contributed alot to the growth and development of the body across the country, to ensure standard in the practice.
This is also combined with his academic pedigree as a holder of Doctorate degree in his profession, geared towards more research and advancement towards Agricultural programs and advancement.
A humanist, philantrophist and community personae,his root and upbringing could not be divorced from his current status and achievements both in academics, professional, job schedules and selfless services.
Down to earth,reserved with high level mien,his passion of exploring selfless services to all and sundry had endeared him to the heart of so many Nigerians from different background and not only his extraction alone.
Engineer Sule’s compendium of activities remained shrouded from the public domain,not out of pride or distinction,but his strong believe in the quaranic injunctions that preclude mortals from disclosing his good deeds,as well as his background.
Known among early his peers and family members as ‘Brano’ a nickname that emanated from his days in secondary school .
As you add another year today in fulfillment of your life’s expectations,it is my hope and prayers for a more fulfilled years not only in your life’s expectations,but in doing more to the society at large as initiated overtime.
