As Muslims across Nigeria celebrate Eid al-Fitr, the Minister of Works, David Nweze Umahi, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his Eid message, Umahi described the season as a time for deep reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the values of sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and obedience to the will of Almighty Allah. He noted that the lessons of Ramadan call for peaceful coexistence, justice, and kindness, particularly towards the less privileged.
The Minister urged Nigerians to embrace unity, tolerance, and mutual respect as essential pillars for national progress. He also called on citizens to use the occasion to pray for peace, stability, and sustained development across the country.
Umahi reaffirmed the commitment of the Federal Ministry of Works to delivering critical infrastructure that connects people, drives economic growth, and improves the quality of life for Nigerians.
He prayed for the acceptance of acts of worship and charity, and for continued peace, prosperity, and good health for the nation. Eid Mubarak.
