Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has reiterated his commitment to sustain ongoing support to orphans and vulnerable families across the state. This dedication aims to ensure their prosperity and success in various aspects of life.


Governor Radda made these remarks during a Sallah homage hosted for the children of the Katsina Orphanage Home. He encouraged them to focus on both Islamic and Western education, emphasizing the importance of education in their future endeavors.


The governor underscored that the state government will continue to prioritize the welfare and protection of these children. Hosting them at the Government House is intended to foster a sense of belonging and happiness among them, ensuring they feel valued like any other child.

Hajia Jamila Abdu Mani, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Girls’ Child Education and Development, revealed that the Katsina Orphanage Home currently accommodates forty-one children, with additional children in Daura. She expressed gratitude to Governor Radda for his unwavering support and highlighted the significance of the clothing provided to each child, a gesture that holds historical importance.


The governor’s compassionate efforts towards orphaned and vulnerable children underscore the state government’s commitment to uplifting marginalized communities and ensuring equal opportunities for all residents.
