Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has again described the demise of the most popular politician, business man and community, leader, Alhaji Isiaka Alfa as a great loss to the country.

Ex- Kogi Governor made the assertion during the visit to the family in Enabo during the 8th days fidau prayers of the late sage on Thursday .

He regretted his death at this critical period when his elderly advice was required to move the state and county forward.

Idris said Late Alhaji Isiaka Alfa was a special person while on earth, with the gift of all potentials from politics, business, community services and by extension humanitarian services.

According to former Kogi Governor, ‘it is only in late Alhaji Isiaka Alfa, that he saw an untiring , sincere ,blunt, and most plain and straight forward leader for over many decades, saying the vacuum will be difficult to fill.’

‘In the early part of my political adventure, inspite differences, his fatherly advise, admonition and input contributed alot to the success of my adminstration for 9 years.’

‘He was very fearless, non vainglorious, devoid of sycophantic tendencies, but stroungly believed in efforts that will move the state and nation forward ‘

He urged the entire state to pray for the family of the late kingmaker, political juggernaut, elder statesman, and hub of community administration, saying it is an irreparable and irreplaceable loss.

The former Kogi Govenor, Ibrahim Idris prayed that Almighty God will reward him with his good deeds with Aljanatul firdaus

He urged the family to sustain the unity , peace and brotherliness in the family of the late sage, saying the large crowd at the 8th day prayers was a testament of good legacies left behind by the late leader.
