A group known as project Kogi East, has reiterated its call on His Excellency. Aminu Abubakar to contest the Kogi East Senatorial election on account of his humbleness, pride free, gentleness and loyalty to all.

 

The group described Q.S as a patriotic man who believes in the aspiration of the youths and understands the pains of the people of Kogi East and if given opportunity in 2023 will offer quality representation.

 

As a group that stands for justice and equity, Love, humbleness and ego free, it will promote and defend principle and warned selfish politicians in the area to respect the the peaceful coexistence of our land.

The Executive Director and National Coordinator of Project Kogi East Advocacy Group for credible leadership. Comrade Abdul in a statement at Anyigba on Friday, said the choice of Aminu by the group for the Senate transcends party lines, adding that the group is not affiliated to any political party but believes in promoting good leadership and sustainable development in our Senatorial district.

He pointed out that Project Kogi East Advocacy Group for credible leadership (KEAGCL) already has inaugurated it’s state, senatorial and local governments executives accros all the nine Local Governments that makes up Kogi East, with the view to working with and projecting good candidates for ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Abdul said: “We have looked inwards and have accessed those aspiring to contest for the senatorial race for Kogi East, we have found in Q.S Aminu as a man of the people that can adequately represent the senatorial district based on what he is currently doing for his constituents, especially carrying the youths along.

“On this note, we are calling on Q.S to be firm in his decision to join the race as we are strongly behind him and we have resolved to work for the actualization of this peoples mandate.

Henceforth, we shall begin to mobilize stakeholders across party divides to work for this project.

“We therefore warned selfish political gladiators in Kogi East to respect this decision of ours otherwise, we shall mobilise the youths to defend this movement and we will resist any form of inducement and intimidation to actualised our common resolve.
