Nigeria’s First Lady,Aisha Buhari Commends SDGs In Nigeria Over Health Interventions, Abubakar Yusuf.

For keeping to the goal 3 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals SDGs, Nigeria’s first lady,Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has commended the handlers of the program in Nigeria.

Mrs Buhari dropped the commendation during the commissioning of the first Diabetes and Endocrine Centre on Thursday in University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada, named after Professor Felicia Anumah-built by the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Developement Goals SDGs in collaboration with her office.

The wife of the President said her office is committed to the well being of mother’s and children particularly at this critical period of COVID,a global pandemic ravaging the globe.

“Iam happy today that this project is now realisable and the first of it’s kind in Nigeria,it is built by a woman,named after a woman and being commissioned by a woman.”

While saluting the courage of the SSA to the President on Sustainable Developement Goals SDGs,Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire on the timely completion of the project,eulogised her determination to providing quality health care through her interventions.

She assured the global body in Nigeria of adequate utilisation of the new structure and it’s equipment,while urging them to continue in this stride.

She appealed for quick action on the establishment of the centre in the remaining geopoltical zones in Nigeria,so as to ease the treatment of the prevalent disease of Diabetes and Endocrine.
