The Middle Belt Developement MDA has throwed his weight behind former Kogi Governor,Alhaji Ibrahim Idris as the National Chairman of PDP in the forthcoming National Convention.

The body in a statement issued on Monday night in Abuja declared that the former Kogi Govenor has all the prerequisites of becoming the National Chairman of PDP.

Spokesman of the group Aaron inalegwu condemned the insinuations that many PDP National Chairman had emerged from the North- Central ,saying the people deserved more opportunities for a job well done.

He said the early leadership of the party pave way for the main opposition party to rule Nigeria for 16 years,saying the best way to return to power is to use the same route,with the realisation of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris as PDP National Chairman.

The image maker congratulated the former Govenor in advance ,saying his unparrareled records as a goal getter and the only Nigeria Governor that ruled a state for nine consecutive years deserved PDP leadership at the National level.

He urged party stakeholders to support former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris to position the party for 2023 election that will ensure the party’s victory at all levels.

Comrade Inalegwu said the massive supports from PDP members both from the North -Central, North- East,and North West will position the party to return to leadership of Nigeria in 2023.
