Says He Has Done His Best.


Former Nigeria President, Ibrahim Babangida has been commended for leading Nigeria into the comity of Nations in the area of all round developement in Nigeria.


He made the statement to mark the former Nigeria leader’s 80th Birthday ceremony,saying his strides knew no bound.


According to him


“Nobody was perfect, nobody is perfect and nobody will be perfect. We are all here to try our best.”


He described former President Babangida as a quitessential leader, courageous, detrabalised with outstanding legacies.


“To me, IBB is an quintessential statesman, a highly courageous and detribalised leader with outstanding legacies in office and inexorable steadfastness to the unity, stability, national cohesion and development of our dear nation.”



He used the opportunity to list out some of IBB’s achievements while in office between 1984 and 1992,saying he has done his best.
