The ruling All Progressives Congress APC will commence it’s program of electing representatives beginning from the Ward level ,local government, state and National level tomorrow Saturday 31st July 2021
This is coming after due consultations with stakeholders, party leaders, members, supporters and received defectors, decampees and returnees that included serving governor’s, Governorship aspirants, Governorship candidates that included Sheik Ibrahim Jibrrin formerly of APGA in kogi state.
As an astute and modest politician who has grassroot connections, the upcoming ward Congress for APC will be a huge success not only in Kogi state,North Central and South East were his political tentacles speak volumes to the advantage of thr party.
Already, the Maverick politician has returned to his ward and by extension his local government to mobilise, create awareness, encourage party members and leaders on the need for internal democracy at the ward as the bane for sane democratic practice.
He has deployed all necessary apparatus, materials both human and other requirements to ensure the success of tomorrow’s event.
All hands must be on deck especially by the party faithfuls to concede and reconcile all warring factions arising from tomorrow’s event.
As a journey of thousand miles begins with the first mile, every party member is relevant in this task ahead of the ruling party APC.
Since politics is local and a grassroot venture, what Sheik Ibrahim Jibrrin is demonstrating is to bring alot of confidence and glamour to our body polity, towards the 2023 general elections and subsequent elections.
With his large followers and political loyalists, there is no doubt that the return of sane political adventure has come to stay in Kogi state and by extension Nigeria.
As Sheik Ibrahim Jibrrin cross the T’s and dot the I’s for tommorow Saturday 31st July 2021 Ward Congress, other political leaders, stakeholders of APC should demonstrate the same spirit of sportsmanship adopted to stabilize our democratic practice in Nigeria.
